Welcome to Benchwood Farm! We are suppliers of fresh raw Goat’s milk direct from our small holding, located in Icklesham, near Rye in East Sussex.
Our Toulouse geese Gladys and Gloria are a free roaming pair. They produce on average 4 eggs each a week. These are significantly bigger than hens eggs and are available to purchase individually. Shelf life is similar to chickens eggs i.e. 3 weeks from date of production. Production dates are clearly marked on each egg. There may be limited availability so please message us if you are interested.
Our goats Lucy and Una produce milk daily. The milk is creamy, odourless and a nutritious alternative to cow’s milk. Fresh milk can be collected from the farm but most of our milk is delivered frozen. Once defrosted it should be used within 3 days.
Our mature hens run with our rooster Maurice and so we can collect up to 6 fertilised eggs daily. These can be dispatched within 24 hours. We have successfully hatched our own chicks from these eggs in our incubator.
